“Leadership is the capacity to make a vision a reality. One can agree that NASTAG has had a vision from its inception. Effective leadership is not about making speeches or being liked; leadership is defined by results, not attributes” – Peter Drucker

Over the past few years, NASTAG has flourished under the leadership of the outgoing Executive Council (EC). Their efforts and time sacrificed to fight for the good of the Association, helped grow the businesses of members and the Association as a whole but their tenure has come to an end.

As per the stipulations in NASTAG’s constitution, a member of the Executive Council could serve for the same position for 2 consecutive terms after which the person cannot be re-elected into the same position. The tenure of the old EC ended on April 30 2021 after which new members were elected on the same day to take up the mandate for a two-year term. The event took place at the Noda Hotel in Fumesua near Kumasi - Ashanti Region, at the Association’s 5th Annual General Meeting on April 30, 2021.

Through a very transparent elections process, Mr. Kwabena Adu-Gyamfi, Managing Director of Agri- Commercial Services Ltd. located in Wenchi in the Brong Ahafo Region was elected as the President of the Association with the rest of the team to lead the Association from April 2021 to March 2023.

NASTAG and its membership are very optimistic that the new crop of the Executive Council members dominated by the teeming youth would build solidly on the foundation laid by the predecessors.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
