The National Seed Trade Association of Ghana (NASTAG) has signed a fixed grant agreement with the ACDI/VOCA Ghana Market Systems Resilience (MSR) project to the tune of GHS 1,314,705.60. The 24 – month project (June 2023 – June 2025) titled “Strengthening the Seed and Agro Input Systems to enhance productivity and livelihood of smallholder farmers in Ghana”

The National Seed Trade Association of Ghana (NASTAG) has signed a fixed grant agreement with the ACDI/VOCA Ghana Market Systems Resilience (MSR) project to the tune of GHS 1,314,705.60. The 24 – month project (June 2023 – June 2025) titled “Strengthening the Seed and Agro Input Systems to enhance productivity and livelihood of smallholder farmers in Ghana”

seeks to strengthen agricultural systems that will result in greater productivity, efficiency, and investment in goods and services that drive agriculture-led economic growth ultimately increasing household incomes for a better and more fulfilling life for smallholder farmers in Northern Ghana.

The National Seed Trade Association of Ghana (NASTAG) is an amalgamation of all the seed value chain actors, and was established in February 2016. It currently counts 36 members and expected to grow. The Association is dedicated to supporting the competitiveness of Ghana’s seed value chain through business and technical capacity building of its members
