Antika Company was established and incorporated in 2004 under the laws of Ghana Private Company Act of 1962. The enterprise is located in Wa, the capital of the Upper West Region of Ghana. The core business of the company includes the production of high quality seed, distribution and sale of agro-inputs such as fertilizer, agro-chemicals and seeds. The company’s main goal is to produce and distribute high quality seeds, supply fertilizers, agro-chemicals and simple farm tools accessible to poor small scale farmers at affordable prices, with the aim of increasing productivity, incomes and standard of living of farmers in the region.

1. Distribution and Sale of Fertilizer and Agro-Chemicals

• Input dealers network of over 150 across the Upper West, Savannah and Upper East Regions
• Distribute over 150,000 bags of fertilizer annually

• Works with over 145 trained out-growers
• Production level stood at 1,250 metric tons of seeds in 2018 and is expected to reach 2,700 metric tons in 2021, maintaining the lead in seed production in Ghana

4. Production and Aggregation of Grains

• Input credit support to over 4,000 smallholder farmers, over 38% being women
• Grooming of 50 young nucleus farmers through input credit scheme
• Provide ready market to over 10,000 smallholder farmers
